Hard to believe there was section left unposted...
Anwyay, does anyone know if thre's anything special about the Fashion Outlets of Las Vegas? it's the outlet mall located in Primm, NV, not, as I undertsand, Las Vegas proper (if that last means anything). I know the other two outlet malls (one south of Town Square Mall, the toher North of Downton, if memory serves), which are regular outlet malls.
I ask because my boss is planning a trip there and he has heard the Fashion Outlets of Las Vegas are either bigger or have a better selection. He's traveling with his wife and pre-teen daughter). Question is if it's worth the additional travel time and expense.

I like the outlets in Primm because they're less crowded and have three major retailers I like: J. Crew, GAP and Old Navy. Whether it's worth the trip is a matter of opinion. For me, no but for others maybe.
When my folks were in town, my old man and I loved that we could occupy my mom at the mall (which is connected to the casino) while we gambled. Another perk for me is being able to pick up a couple of lotto tickets (THE HORROR!) across the state line.
I haven't been in six months or more and I know Terrible's had been having trouble keeping the storefronts filled. So I can't say what's left there.
The outlets on LV Blvd. South are pretty ragtag and low-end. The ones downtown are mid- to upscale but all outdoors, so the heat will be a factor. Of the three, I like Primm best, but that's me.

I was at the Primm outlet mall a couple months ago. It still looks good. Almost every store is open for business and I haven't noticed any turnover towards more economy stores.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Primm a few weekends ago. We got an offer from them for 2 free nights, Friday and Saturday, as well as a $100 gift card. In addition to the gift card, we were given some other kind of card that could be used to get additional discounts. I don't do any shopping, but my girlfriend went to the mall and really enjoyed looking around. She said there were good deals there. She ended up buying a few really nice purses from the Coach store, and using the gift card and other card, spent less than $100.

Thank you all.
It does sound like a place for a family to spend the entire day. Good thing the boss says he doesn't really gamble. They're taking another whole day to see the grand cannyon.
