One thing that dealers face is the noise in the casino. Blaring music and obnoxious screaming from drunk people who go crazy because they won $10 from the dealer busting can give a nasty headache and cause general discomfort. One thing I started using were earplugs. These earplugs are very comfortable, I used to wear them when I worked 10pm-6am and would have to sleep during the day. They slip deep into the ear and do not leave a colored protrusion that would make the wearing of them obvious. Since I have been wearing them I have found my nights dealing much more enjoyable. I can still hear the players and talk to them. They have a noise reduction of about 30 db.

Good dealing ear plugs

I don't even deal and I might wear these in the casino next time. I really can't handle the vegas-drunken-female "woo!!!".
