Some friends and I are going to be in Vegas shortly and we're looking for some really great places to eat while we're there. Not just good dinners (we're generally big steak and itallian fans) but nice bars and patios for lounging around and even delicious lunches.
Any can't miss places around or just off the strip?

I recommend the Grand Lux Cafe in either Venetian or Palazzo. Its nothing pretentious, just good food at a good price.
For lounging around ambiance, its hard to beat the terrace at Mon Ami Gabi in Paris. Right across the street from the Bellagio fountains. The problem is that it can be a bitch to get into. No reservations accepted. You've got to wait in line to put your name on a list, then wait about 3 hours for them to call you.
