My personal can't-miss: drinks at the Strat as the sun sets. After that, maybe Ghostbar.

I personally loved the sunset view at the top of the Eiffel Tower at Paris. The Bellagio fountains as the sun goes down, and the lights of the strip stretching both ways was immense.
I also have a special place in my heart for the view from Binions Steakhouse.

I voted for Voodoo Lounge. But I must confess it's the only selection I've ever experienced.

Strat & Voodoo Lounge at Rio, with Strat probably being a little better.
You can oftentimes get up to both for free with a coupon that is handed
out.
Last time we went up to the Strat, it wasn't crowded, the lounge is
very upscale, and admission was free with just a one drink minimum.
I haven't been up to the Ghost bar yet.

There's emptiness behind their eyes
There's dust in all their hearts
They just want to steal us all and take us all apart

I really enjoy Mix at the top of THE Hotel for a stunning view north from the south strip. Great drinks and a nice outdoor patio, not to mention the ride up in a glass elevator along the side of Mandalay Bay.

No view beats what you get from Lake Las Vegas.

The front seat upstairs on the deuce bus can be fun.
Old enough to repaint. Young enough to sell.

We hit the Saraha last night. We only won $200, but there was some hard way action when I hit three hard sixes back to back.
Boxman made a point to harass me (for NO LEGITIMATE REASON AT ALL) so I took all my money down, and chucked the dice to seven out exclaiming "THAT'S THE WAY THE BOXMAN LIKES IT!"
He says "what?" And I repeated myself as I colored up.
They must be HURTING BAD to give me that kind of heat for what was not even 4 figures in payouts...
LOL. The Sarah .. what a POS place!!!
Poor poor losers!

I vote for Stratosphere.
I was fond of the view of Fremont St. from Firefly at the Plaza. It was open in December (barely). Is it still open?

That's because you were playing in a sweat joint, the Sahara used to be a great place to play craps, but that has all changed, I have seen someone that is just slinging the dice down the table, and getting lucky, start to get harassment from the suits......!
If you want the best view of the city try coming into town from south on 95 coming down the hill from Railroad Pass Casino heading north, you can see the whole valley lit-up at night.
I love seeing the city from there even though I live here, I get to check it out every Monday night coming back into the city!
Note, all my post start with this is just my opinion...!
You do good brada ..!

I don't think I can vote properly on the best of these options, since I have never seen most of them at night. In this post in another thread, I showed a miniature view of the panorama photo I took from the Voodoo at Rio. I thought the view from there was outstanding. In that post, I gave a link to the full-sized image, so if you have never been to that location at night, you might take a look at my photo. After posting the image here, I had an 8x64 print made and framed, and it is now hanging over a double doorway in my living room (along with a gazillion of my other photos -- I'm into "economy" artwork for home decorating!)

I have been up the Strat and done the VooDoo Lounge. The night we were out on the deck at the VooDoo the wind was fairly strong. All I could think of was the show Las Vegas when the boss lady got blown off the roof and was gone. Moving around on the deck and looking at the strip was awesome. The Eifel Tower has some of that but the bars distracts from the open air feeling that occurs on the top of the Rio.
