Las Vegas Club and Gold Spike Closing Hotels

I discovered that the Las Vegas Club is closing its hotel for a renovation tonight. Earlier in the evening, Vegas Chatter discovered Gold Spike was closing theirs as well. The casino floors will stay open at each property.
I speculate that LVC is going to take the $14 million they got from Western to remodel LVC which is badly needed. I broke the LVC story on one of my buyer's websites but I don't think it would be appropriate to link to my own work.
