Yeah, DMSCR and others on here. This thread is impossible to split; takes 20 minutes just to load pre-split within the macro, then I can only read the first line or two of what's said, quote or not, to mark it for a split. It crashed my computer yesterday trying to deal with it, and I gave up.
STOP posting random crap here! STOP posting hijacks here! This is not the first time we've made that request, and it generates complaints when you do it anyway, beyond the comments (further cluttering the thread) in-thread about it happening. Please consider this a warning, that I will have zero tolerance from here on out for off-topic stuff in this thread, and there will be action. Thanks very much.

I know everyone loves seeing how long this thread can go, but might it not be time to start a new Discussion About the Suspension List thread? Other than the fact that it is still easy for us to delete/edit individual posts, this thread is completely unmanageable.
In reality talking about why people have been suspended is -EV.

That's a much better idea than having to have different standards for hijacking. Thanks, Mission; let's do that. I'll retract my statement (quoted above) and go back to normal moderation on the topic.
This thread is closed. Further discussion of the suspension list can be found here.
Quote: AxelWolfI didn't realize that this thread was so important that it had to remain squeaky clean. The fact that this thread has other conversation on it should be thought of as a good thing.

I agree with everything you said here. This (squeaky clean) is/was a limitation of the board's thread capacity and not really a content issue. However, hijacking the new thread, as in hijacking others, will still be an administrative issue.
