Quote: IbeatyouracesI see that he's called us all "morons" on a different forum...
If I wanted to say that I would actually say it. That would most likely to put me in the ice box in here but I will still say it if the situation calls for it. So there.

You did say it..
Could you send me whatever you found through PM or if the Mods allow it just post it here publicly.
Come on people now,
smile on your brother.
Everybody get together.
Try to love one another,
right now.

Come on guys! Breathe big, it's hard to do with your teeth clenched ;-)
Every similar forum on the web that exists and probably ever has existed that caters primarily to the very small subculture of those who really, really want to identify as "advantage players" or other flavors of serious gamblers continually has the same problems and always will. Because those who tend to be most intensely drawn to gambling to the extent they make it a major part of their life have always included a very high proportion of folks with particular kinds of emotional "issues" and certain kinds of conditions. Forms of autism for one. Fetal alcohol syndrome for another. Among many, and often more than one going on. The sort of issues and conditions that have had volumes written about them in medical literature, and their relationship to gambling, and are associated with challenges with getting along in the world that are a lot broader and deeper than any game, and that existed long before first setting foot in any casino or even becoming old enough to do so. And they can't ever be magically cured by something that might be done by someone operating a discussion forum. And the > 90% of the population that does not share those pre-existing emotional and mental conditions tend to be discouraged from being a very active part of the quite peculiar kind of little social world that develops within such a subculture.
Very unpopular to some when said "out loud" but true and screaming, flaming, big flashing neon sign with a brass band level of obvious within the first few minutes to most people. Yes it is, and it is most peoples' take away and what they mostly have to say about such little grouplets, this one no more or less than some others. Which is what keeps these forums very small. It just is what it is, and won't change.
Or alternatively, it is really everybody else in the world that has a problem, and "we" are really the ones who are just fine because of clinging in a circle with a chant that it is so, when not at each other's throats, and "they" are the ones who just don't "get it" like "we" in the little circle do. A lot like some other subcultures with folks with some of the same issues resulting in the intense pursuit of similar narrowly focused interests:
Oh well. Tomorrow is Thursday. Unless that's just a conspiracy to screw "us" over, and only fools believe in that plot against us.

How much weed did you smoke before writing that beautifully inane post? I kid, and you may be partially correct, though I don't think I'm a fetal alcohol autistic person clinging to the forums for humanity sakes =D.Quote: DrawingDeadThis is silly, as usual. And today is Wednesday. Another dumpster fire.

Or not, if you prefer. So nevermind, if you like. Everybody who's ever looked at the issue is probably just some kind of pinhead with a stupid worthless paper to write, and has it all wrong. They're all fine. Actually brilliant, in fact. Yeah, let's go with that. We'll say just not so well understood by all the lesser folk who make up most of the world. Carry on.
In fact some that I haven't ever had occasion to be around, that I and quite a few others I know might think are barking at the moon wacko (pardon the judgmental technical term) have even been described as sweet by others. No doubt. Prolly made of nothing but Tupelo honey.
Damnation, I knew that. I can't get anything right anymore.Quote: PuckerbuttThe Youngbloods
So I hit my 16 vs 10 w/ 2 cards, but I stand on my 16 vs 10 w/3 cards? True count is neutral, 3 decks in, 6 aces are gone, also 8 5's, 16 monkeys, and I think I saw a partridge sitting in a pear tree ;-)
<edit> been a bunch of 2's too, and the sevens are following me around like the NSA. I need a break!
Yep, that one jumped out at me too.Quote: PuckerbuttThe Youngbloods
