WOW, well said I cant agree with you more.Quote: sodawaterI couldn't care less if "HotBlonde" is female or male. All I know is that her posts do not add much to the gambling discussions on this site. When I've seen her in a thread, manufactured drama has accompanied her more often than not. I think she already got a lenient ruling on her suspensions, since her first suspension was 3 days, her second suspension was 7 days, and her third suspension was also 7 days.
Has any other member been suspended three times, and the third suspension was only a week? "HotBlonde" already receives tremendously favorable treatment from the administration of this site, considering her previously documented behavior and her interest almost exclusively in talking about herself and other off-topic subjects. Therefore I couldn't disagree with onenickelmiracle more that her suspension should be lifted early.
It is my personal opinion, and I am speaking only for myself, that this site reads a lot better when we talk about ideas and things, not about ourselves. "HotBlonde's" primary interest seems to be talking about herself, and thus I think the forum reads better when she is not posting.
Personally I'm not for petty bans. But, if she did in fact make up a derogatory email just to send SP a message after agreeing to not communicate with him here. To me, that's just bat sht crazy and perhaps she needs some time off from the forum to take a breath.
Quote: onenickelmiracleI support hotblonde. She should have her suspension lifted early. The first reason is it's bothering her more than it should and it's not fair to let her suffer for such a little thing. Second reason because she is female and should be given mercy.
Probably give Nareed a get out of jail card too for the same reasons out of sympathy.
My feelings on this as previously stated, http://wizardofvegas.com/forum/info/rules/3853-discussion-about-the-suspension-list/227/#post328316
Also giving an early lift or get out of jail free card just tells them their behavior is okay and that it will be tolerated again, when it should not be. Your gender should not factor into the standards you are held to.

Really? A link to a previous post within the same thread? LOL! :D

I believe I will peruse the Suspension list prior to posting my response to this query, so let's take a look:
1.) Buzzard was Suspended twice (once as Buzzpaff) and both were for three days.
2.) Jybrd0403 has actually been Suspended three times, while the third was for fourteen days, both the first and second were for seven.
3.) AHigh/AAHigh was not nuked for multiple identities.
4.) Nareed actually jumped from a first Suspension of Three days to a second Suspension of Thirty days.
5.) Texasplumr was Suspended for five days on his first Suspension and Three on the second.
6.) Treetopbuddy's last two were both for thirty days.
Interestingly enough, this varied history would seem to point towards an apparent tendency of Administration to occasionally consider the context of a Suspension rather than strictly adhere to the Martingale policy. There have, in fact, been males who have positively benefitted by such consideration and one female for whom such consideration has worked detrimentally.
In any event, I can say that HotBlonde will serve her full seven day Suspension.

Several pages ago and could have easily been missed. I could quote it but is some good discussion that could have also been missed that took place shortly after said post.
Obviously their should be some leeway on suspensions WE shouldn't question the administrations decisions if it dose not directly affect you ,or its an obvious unfair suspension like Rogers, it's is not a law, its a rule to use as a guide line.Quote: Mission146I believe I will peruse the Suspension list prior to posting my response to this query, so let's take a look:

Quote: onenickelmiracleMy prediction, you will be shocked, but just a guess considering forum posts have nothing to do with it most likely. Real world events I guess.
I did not know that suspensions could be handed out for things that happen in real life.
What's an example of something a member could do completely outside the context of this forum that warrants suspension ? I just reread the rules and not a single one seems to apply to the non internet world.
So if someone is using this forum to stalk, cheat, steal, kill, con others it should be tolerated ?Quote: michael99000I did not know that suspensions could be handed out for things that happen in real life.
