Going to Vegas to try some craps

Hello everyone and thank you for the great info on this wonderful new site I stumbled across. I have spent 3 straight days reading here and have been enlightened with some serious data. I am going to budget a grand a day to try a few strategies on craps, video poker and baccarat I have found popular here.

Well I am staying at South Point and going to drive up to Henderson to the Jokers Wild to see how the 10x odds work on a Min pass bet with full odds. I used to play at the Reserve now Fiesta and going to try the games listed on vpFREE2.com. I have gambled for 25 years for just fun and have had a few good jackpots just with dumb luck. Now I want to try to still have a nice 4 day trip but bet smartly.

Thanks, I am really looking forward to this trip with all my new knowledge and tips I have read here. I usually only play Pai Gow but always chased the bonus bet. Last month at the Indian Casino in Tucson I managed to go from 100 to 1k in 3 hrs with a string of full boats, 2 straight flushes and a wild royal. It was also the first time I was betting over 10 on the straight bet and now see the danger of betting 25 on the bonus.

I hear that is large, clean rooms; well lit casino, businesslike attitude (rather than overly chatty and certainly no party pit), some good BJ offerings but everyone is watched like a hawk and bet spreaders are booted out; craps is still a disgraceful 2x odds but that is what many people play no matter what odds are available to them. A primary advantage of South Point is that the VP is supposed to be very, very good.

At your level of play, you should be RFB there so please let us know if your not. Of course with their cheap rooms and very frequent seventy-two hour sales they are practically giving away the rooms anyway.

There are two cheapie casinos in Henderson right close to each other that I keep getting confused about. One is said to be extremely smokey, perhaps its Club Fortune.

That's the place. I went there on my last trip, I was playing $3 on the pass line and was the high roller at the table. I did all the Come bets with odds, and eventually, the shooter was hot so I got my 6 and 8 up to $30 (10x odds) with pressing my bets.

Eldorado and Club Fortune, I believe. Those casinos are not great.
