Any chance spell check could be added as a feature?

What browser do you use? Firefox has a spellchecker built in, and Internet Explorer and Chrome have free downloadable add-ins for spellchecking.

I also think a spell checker would me a nice function - i know some boards use it - as they have visitors and members from all around the world.

I run Ubuntu Linux and can not find the spell checker function with Firefox.

Cheers
AP - It's not that it can't be done, but rather people don't really have a clue as to the level of fanaticism and outright obsession that it takes to be successful, let alone get to the level where you can take money out of the casinos on a regular basis. Out of 1,000 people that earnestly try, maybe only one will make it.

On my Windows XP system here at the office, the Firefox spell check toggle is under tools/options/advanced/browsing/"check my spelling as I type"

There is nothing to "find". It automatically underlines misspelled words with wavy red line as you type, and if you right click on an underlined word, it will show a list of suggested corrections.
Yes, it works on linux (an on any other OS).

Are you saying it is not working for you? That's very strange. Which version are you running (both Ubuntu and FF)? Do you have any locales installed/activated other than US? Did you install FF via synaptic/apt-get or did you download a binary from website? Was it a version localised for a foreign language by some chance?

Edit: Ah, rdw4potus is right - there really is a preference option that toggles it (on linux it should be under Edit/Preferences/Advanced), but I am pretty sure it is "on" by default.

You actually have to pay attention to the red underline corrections or it won't do you any good. :D

Just about every text input box on my Mac does the red underline, right-click, suggestions thing; browser, IM, Mail, whatever.
