Blocking

I was careless, but I went to a blog by one of my blocked people and the content was not blocked. Not complaining and I only read the first line, but can the block extend to blogs? On the other hand, the email notice of a private message waiting is very cool. So far I have already read the pm before you send the email notice, but still a very nice touch.
