I posted a thread twice in the Math subforum and I can't see either of them. Would they be hidden for some reason?

clicking on your name, I found your post. It is on page 4 of "recent threads"

I think what has happened is that you are an early morning [in the US] poster and groggy folks read your thread but saw it required some work on their part and didnt plunge into solving it. As the day wears on, the lack of responses buries the thread. Since you didnt say where you saw the game, most readers probably got the feeling this was *your* game and, if so, why aren't you hiring someone to do this kind of number crunching?

If it is a game at a casino somewhere, there will be more interest. If it is in Vegas, the Wizard himself will surely pounce on it. He seems to have vowed to have a page on all known Vegas games that made it to the floor somewhere somehow.

Thanks for your reply. It's not my game, but it is available on lots of online casinos (possibly with different rule sets), which is why I thought it was curious that there's no information about it on Wizard of Odds or anywhere else for that matter.

I posted my original thread(s) in the math subforum and can't find it anywhere in that subforum. Now I'm less interested in the analysis of the hi-lo game as I am in finding out why my thread shows up somewhere other than where I posted it.

I have this problem too. Some threads I don't see. And here is my solution:

Log out, delete cookies, and reload

After that, the thread is right on the first page of the list.
But the problem is, when I log in, it disappears again.

Best plan is to mark all threads as read. That way, the latest unread threads show at the top, then the latest read threads. Once you've done that once, you'll see the most recent stuff commented on pop to the top, so if your thread is active, it will show up near the top. If it isn't... it fades downwards.

Yes, the problem is that threads with no unread replies get sorted off the page. Is there any way to change this setting? It's pretty confusing having threads just disappear from page 1 until you figure this out.

Edit: and it probably contributes to threads dying an earlier death, since it makes it more difficult to read a thread and come back and reply later, unless someone else has replied in the meantime.
