I would appreciate some help, please. Let's take the the URL https://tinyurl.com/2j3z2yxh
Would this be the correct way to create a link from a URL?

Or am I misinterpreting something? Does the method I'm trying to use work for generally converting URL's to links when using the web, or is this method only for Wizardofvegas?
I can see that yes, I did create a link. But this nomenclature does not work on my laptop if I want to create a link from a URL.
