I know there are a lot of fans of the sweet science here. The boxing world has lost a true gentleman with the passing of Hall of Fame boxing judge Harold Lederman (passing at 79 due to cancer). Mr. Lederman started as a boxing judge (one of the best ever in my opinion) in the mid 1960s and later in his career joined HBO Boxing as a commentator where he always offered great understanding and insight (as well as his "unofficial scoring") of the bouts. He often attended smaller regional cards in the NY/NJ area and had a genuine fondness for boxing fans. He was never to busy to respond to a hello or engage in a quick discussion about the sweet science. Mr. Lederman, rest in peace, rest in peace.
I 'm gonna go get the papers, get the papers.
