I noticed a new name and avatar today(Cantgoback) had posted in a few threads. I noticed they had 5k posts and had been a member since 2012. I was thinking, that's not possible, I would surely have recognized someone who had 5k posts and has been a member since 2012(perhaps I was having an 18 yo's in a row moment).
I looked around and noticed it was onenickelmiracle. His name comes up as Cantgoback with a cartoon avatar I haven't seen before.
Whats up with that?

Done some preliminary inquiry into this. It may be inadvertent or a misunderstanding. Very unlikely a policy change.
I would request people retain their original names, IAW rules and custom, until this is resolved.

I've never understood how people don't realize it is one of the most iconic sports roadsters the world has ever seen. Must be few car guy / race fans here. MX-5 Cup racing is one of the most exciting, single model classes there are.

I greatly prefer the Mazda 6 myself. I've only known two men who owned Miata's and they were both gay. Once was quite amazing. A former rugby player, it was fun watching him squeeze his 6'6,245 lb frame into one.
The older I get, the better I recall things that never happened

I did buy two Miatas, though, '93 and '99 models that I bought new as commuter cars. (I am neither a racer nor a racing fan.) I was closing in on 48 when I bought the first one and had reached 61 by the time I sold the second one, so "mid-life" would not be an offensive characterization at all.
I really like the look of the new hard top fastback model, but I have never been in one. I'm just hoping the SUV I'm driving now (169k miles) lasts forever.
