I looked around and noticed it was onenickelmiracle. His name comes up as Cantgoback with a cartoon avatar I haven't seen before.
Whats up with that?
Ding ding ding. I noticed I was allowed to change my username, so I did and not allowed to change it back to onm because onenickelmiracle is 16 characters, max now is 15.Quote: AxelWolfI noticed a new name and avatar today(Cantgoback) had posted in a few threads. I noticed they had 5k posts and had been a member since 2012. I was thinking, that's not possible, I would surely have recognized someone who had 5k posts and has been a member since 2012(perhaps I was having an 18 yo's in a row moment).

How about 1nickelmiracle as a alternate
That’s something I asked to years ago and was told no. Didn’t know it’s doable now.Quote: GwoAEI don't like that we can change our names.
I wanna change since I’m no longer a DJ, and figure my real name would be better since I’m trying to market Casino games.
But since a lot of posts reference my DJ name, I’m hesitant to change.
Of course if we could add an alias that appears under our user name, THEN we’d have something!
LolQuote: OddBobMy wife lives in the freezer.
Try getting it back now.Quote: GwoAEI don't like that we can change our names.

well, you can be blocked, but it certainly sucks that you can take someone's old name. Can it get more confusing than that?

Wholly crap that confused me.
I would request people retain their original names, IAW rules and custom, until this is resolved.

Did you try changing it back when I had it? Just wondering if you could.Quote: GwoAEWholly crap that confused me.
That's not really BBB.Quote: beachbumbabsDone some preliminary inquiry into this. It may be inadvertent or a misunderstanding. Very unlikely a policy change.

Just need Nathan to change his name to Kentry so Won can cream his jeans.Quote: EvenBoobIt still is fun

Whoa. Did not see this post coming at all! :/ Hit me out of left field completely. :O
There is a database comparison run in progress. Expect old names to be restored. If yours is not corrected within the next day, please advise and we will get it fixed.

Now that was funny.
I had you, onm, confused with a newbie troll when you imitated someone, so I was going to block you whoever you were. Wasnt used to your new image.
Quote: GWAEawwww I was excited to have the corrected spelling on my moniker. OG will be mad.
I am. Check PMs.
I tried to be incognito and was going to keep changing it up, but then I realized I couldn't go back by myself. Wonder if blocking would have even worked then after name changes, guess we'll never know.Quote: odiousgambitNow that was funny.

It looked terrible with your capitalizing choices, should have went with GWOAE.Quote: GWAEawwww I was excited to have the corrected spelling on my moniker. OG will be mad.

I could've swore he changed his to "ILuvMiatas" for a little while. 😅

Was that before or after you just thought the OP was someone writing nonsense?
p.s. I would have changed my name to Romes and helped you by writing your coming out letter to the forum.
Quote: RSIsn't "without" one word?
Yes so technically my name is correct. That is why I made it that way. Then I realized it was the same as the show.
Just landed in vegas, only have 6% charge, here's for hoping I can get to and order uber before it dies.
You'll be legally gay axel after 40 more gay jokes.Quote: AxelWolfWas that before or after you just thought the OP was someone writing nonsense?

So what some people say isn't true, it's not a choice its earned?Quote: onenickelmiracleYou'll be legally gay axel after 40 more gay jokes.

Yes but first step is buying a miata
After enough jokes, the odds they're jokes drop and the odds you're really looking for a boyfriend increase.Quote: AxelWolfSo what some people say isn't true, it's not a choice its earned?
Or a Prius.Quote: GWAEYes but first step is buying a miata

I've never understood the gay/Miata jokes. All the gay people I know wouldn't be caught dead in a Miata. I've always considered it a mid-life crisis car for (straight) men who can't afford a Porsche.

I've never understood how people don't realize it is one of the most iconic sports roadsters the world has ever seen. Must be few car guy / race fans here. MX-5 Cup racing is one of the most exciting, single model classes there are.
Guess I could accept that viewpoint, except I don't think I ever really wanted a Porsche -- I much prefer to drive something more reliable.Quote: TigerWuI've always considered it a mid-life crisis car for (straight) men who can't afford a Porsche.
I did buy two Miatas, though, '93 and '99 models that I bought new as commuter cars. (I am neither a racer nor a racing fan.) I was closing in on 48 when I bought the first one and had reached 61 by the time I sold the second one, so "mid-life" would not be an offensive characterization at all.
I really like the look of the new hard top fastback model, but I have never been in one. I'm just hoping the SUV I'm driving now (169k miles) lasts forever.
I rest my case.Quote: beachbumbabsI think it's a gorgeous car in styling.
