I was just updating my profile when I clicked on "Gender" . To my horror the only two available Genders were "Male" and "Female" .

Now, this does not directly effect me as I identify as a Cis Male when it comes to Gender.

But, there are hundreds of people in the world who identify as other Genders.

I would like to request of the Admins and the New Owners to either Change "Gender" to "Sex" (which is the biological/legal definition) or do what Facebook did and add the complete catalog of Genders.

Otherwise this is a direct attack against Trans-People and their supporters.

Why inquire about a forum member's gender at all?

I'm going to start identifying myself as female ONLY when needing to use a public restroom with a hot chick or 4 in there.

Presumably he's a "straight," heterosexual man.

That profile revision is not necessary, IMO, because you are not required to select anything there, and many people don't. If someone doesn't identify with male or female, or if they don't care to give that information, it's all the same. No backwards inference intended or suggested.
If the House lost every hand, they wouldn't deal the game.
