I would prefer to be '2F' for several reasons.
It fits nicely on the new and improved format in several places.
TwoFeathersATL is so ...so... Cumbersome.
Does anyone out there have the power to 'poof' change the name.
I know 'poof' name is gone is possible.
I'm not asking for an eraser, more like whiteout...

In the past, Mike & JB have said name changes are impossible. And even if it were possible, any post that references the old name will not change.
How about a compromise: add a nickname to the profile, and show it under the screen name.
While at it, add an additional identifier that would state if you're in casino management, casino employee, degenerate gambler, etc.

I thought you had a flag in the background of your pic, looked closer, looks like a rainbow (not serious at all).

You may feel you have a long cumbersome name but so what.
Its not like you have to type in your name here ever.
I would understand if you had to type your name, 14 key strokes as opposed to 2.
But I never type my name so I dont think its a big deal.
I think the Wiz prefers consistency in names . If you sign up at DT, the rule is to use the same handle as WOV
Maybe someone of the group of authority figures for the forums will respond.
Maybe they will not, that's cool.
I had a question, I asked it, tried to ask in the appropriate spot.

Let me try this again, I never heard back from the 'Powers'.
I asked was it possible to change my name from TwoFeathersATL to 2F.
I would like to add that just simply TwoFeathers would be OK as well.
ATL is just an airport code.
I can change my signature msg, when I do it changes the signature msg on every post I ever made.
OK I guess, I'd prefer to just have subsequent posts with the new signature msg.
Same with name, if it could be changed, I'd prefer that only new posts show from the new name.
But I would be fine with all posts reflect the altered name, whether it be 2F or Two Feathers.
It's just a request, definitely not a demand or anything.
It would be nice, but till my presence here is no longer tolerated ( no cute quips pls ) I will live with whatever name I need to. Yes, I just picked a bad name to start with, all my bad.
And then there's Babs and EB, etc.
I think the majority of regular posters will refer to you as 2F in the future as they see this more often.

One day I couldn't log on to the forum. I tried everything for several days to no avail. I got no support or response from the numerous pleas for help that I sent. Finally, I joined under my present name. Several here have had more than one name without getting suspended. I don't think they have access to all the names. I know I only have it for my present name.
Have you sent a private message to any of the 'powers'?
If you take a new ID, abandon the old, and announce as such, nobody would object.
The only issue is, you'd lose your history. IE, you'd have the new join date, and zero posts. That's what's holding me back from changing my own ID.

1st and foremost, I am too shy to send a PM to anyone that hasn't sent me a PM first, Admin or regular member, maybe just me, just me being relatively new, and me standing in complete 'awe' of the voices that appear here.
In all honesty, I jumped in here, into the forums, as a rather nieve member. Didn't read enough before I started talking. Then started talking, my bad. I suffer from Mickey Crimm desease, mid-level on the scale. Mickey still got me beat, God bless him, but I am in the infantry that continue to march up the hill, into the entrenched positions at the top of the hill. The hail of gunfire is hard to quantify, but to qualify is easy, scared the jhit out of me...

Seriously? I never read that rule. I even stated in another conversation that I had a different user name at DT. I joined the day it opened, which many of us did. I don't recall that being a rule.
