Do you mean copy and paste each quote into a word processor? I didn't think of that, although I have used a word processor to check spelling.

If I'm doing it, I right-click the "quote" button on each thing I want to include, and use "open in new tab". Then I copy and paste each one into the reply or new thread I'm creating, closing each tab after I've copied what I wanted. That way the html is already in each piece.

Note that this is a bug in the software.
SOMETIMES, when you quote a post that has a quote, it's will be included, already tagged to be a nested quote.
If it doesn't do it for you, I use Babs' method.

I just type in the q tags myself, and copy-paste the text I want to quote in between them.

Like Axiom, I open my post in a new tab, and then just manually add the [ q=xxx ][ /q ] tags as needed.
I then can use the main tab to view different forum posts as necessary.
