He is right, it is pretty much standard practice for several years now. I never needed it on this site because it is fairly simple to navigate.

Talking with my daughter yesterday, she said I really need a face book page. She said " Forums like this are so 90's"
I gave her the benefit of the doubt, that she meant the 1990's. Not the average age and/or IQ of the members here.

Not every website, but many. Including many government sites on both sides of the border.

Most other websites DO have the logo return to the home page. I say most because I can't commit to saying "all". That said, I can't remember being on a website where that didn't work.
All of my websites do it too.
However, on most websites, the logo is rather small. Here, it's a full-blown header.
But that doesn't mean it can't be a link to the home page.

to have the upper logo link to home is pretty standard, but here the 'home' link is easy to spot about where you would look for it.

He's right, it is fairly common.
I changed it to go to the home page (not the Forum home page, but the Home home page) when it is clicked.

Maybe she means that the attention span of the members here is longer than 90 seconds so we don't have posts limited to a few sentences?

Facebook is great if you want to receive constant alerts and notifications every time someone you went to high school with (whom you haven't seen since then) plants a virtual plant in a virtual farm and would like for you to do the same.
For the rest of us, there are "forums like this."

Wizard, it doesn't matter. You can have the link to your homepage in a logo at the top of each page, or you can simply have the word "home" as you do. there is no rule. More importantly, keep giving us good information. thank you.

Facebook would be the appropriate place for someone to gleefully inform us that he had just placed a thousand smackers on Some Nag in the Fifth at Somewhere because he got it at 30:1.
This Forum would be the appropriate place to post how he selected the horse, how the math actually works out, what most long shots actually come in at and why forty two percent of pole positions are meaningless.
