PokerStars and UFC: Video: http://bit.ly/2I1aefo

As you may have heard, PokerStars, the undisputed champions of the poker world, launched an exclusive global partnership recently with the world’s premier mixed martial arts organisation, the UFC.

For months now, teams across the business and at the UFC have been working on big plans to thrill as far and wide as possible with games, promotions, content and competitions the gaming world has never seen before.

UFC fans will be welcome into the PokerStars fold with UFC-themed PokerStars promotions and products featuring cash prizes and exclusive UFC experiences to be won in 2019. Meanwhile, poker fans will see UFC branding emblazon newly relaunched Spin & Go’s. For the first time, players can play poker inside the UFC’s world famous Octagon®, feel the thrill of an arena atmosphere, and potentially win millions.

What do you think:
1. Is this going to be BIG?
2. Is this a good partnership?
3. Will this attract more Poker plays?

My reaction to this partnership is: WTF are they thinking? People who play poker tend to be the opposite of people who engage in (and enjoy) martial arts. I play poker and can't name a single UFC fighter and have zero interest in the macho blowhard UFC where men and women with dough for brains inflict bodily harm on each other.
