One of the earliest and most beloved features of the Wizard of Odds were the clunky old Java games I created in the late 90's. Here is a screenshot of the Jacks or Better game.

The problem is that Java is being less and less supported by browsers. Google Chrome doesn't support my games at all. They can still be played in Internet Explorer, but I don't expect that to last.
What we want to do is convert them to HTML5, while retaining the retro look as much as we can. So, we're giving our WoV programmers first opportunity at the job. Please PM me if you are qualified and interested. This is, of course, paying work.

The Ultimate Texas Hold 'Em game also cannot be played (it uses Java).

Wiz, I love that Java game (even if the computer I try to run it on doesn't). I especially appreciate the expected return values in the dialog window. (I like knowing how much my mistakes are costing me.) I hope you are able to retain this feature in the updated version.

The Jacks-or-Better game has been converted to HTLM5 and runs on the latest versions of major name browsers, enjoy!
