Got email from m life which is just terribly worded from a marketing perspective .
Looks like they have slashed a ton of benefits for platinum member including no more express comps for table players

Because you are AP? Or because they are cutting expenses allocated for comps?

Has zero to do with anything related to whether I ap or not they changed the program as awhile and the email starts with nothing but negatives followed by one or two meaningless add ons - here are the changes

I only play table games so this reduces the "automatic" comps we get while playing at MLife; I don't know if I play enough to get comps from the pit, we shall see... I am not holding my breathe.

I guess things are good enough for them to risk some alienation of clientele.

Wow, the casino may be struggling. I am not trying to say that they are correct in their decision.

I can tell you from owning a business, expenses make it risky. Return of investment is 2 to 10 years to reach break even. I ran a risky business that was conducive to being robbed. If I got robbed once, I'd have worked for free for years. Just wasn't worth it.

I see you have an Iphone too. I like them because Iphones never delete their text messages.

IMO, they may be looking at the Cosmo killing their table game comps about 6 months ago and are satisfied enough with what they saw there to try the same thing. Since I've not given them a lot of business, I don't think it will change things much for me, as my comps were minimal at best, though they do keep trying to fly/motorcoach me to Beau Rivage.
If the House lost every hand, they wouldn't deal the game.

Good reason to play as a refusal. I hope this trend continues.

That's the feel I got from it. Maybe there isn't enough competition, maybe they're just convinced that these changes won't cost them enough business to offset the savings.
May the cards fall in your favor.
