If so inclined. Or wish my adult daughter MELANIE age 34, 4 daughters, good luck.
Josie is with her at emergency room. Melanie has head and neck pain and hands involuntarily locked in position intermittently.
She is Schizoaffective ( hears voices sometimes ). On Geodon. Hoping this is another side effect. New version of Tardive dyskinesia .
Googled heart attack while I was having same last year. Heading to hospital now.
Not about to Google stroke.

THANKS EVERYBODY Minor TD Major Migraine headache. First migraine, but better than all the alternatives.
Now I can get back to serious stuff. Like why the hell am I only in 3rd place in NFL pool ?

Thanks everybody, those who posted or just read. Melanie doing fine. First real migraine and evidently brutal. Took morphine to lessen the pain. Proving once again we are all just a bunch of chemicals.

Glad to hear that she is doing fine. I also get terrible migraines with extreme dizziness, blurred vision, and vomiting. Mine are induced by certain foods, hot dogs, Splenda, dried powdered cheeses like those on Quaker rice cakes. Might be wise to monitor foods prior migraines that could be triggers. Best of luck!

Buzz, I am just seeing this. Very glad you have made it through the episode, and sorry you and yours are having to deal with this.
I'm not a doctor. I don't play one on tv. But I have to wonder, seeing a documentary on medical marijuana about 2 weeks ago, whether it might help Melanie. There were 3 people on there who shared at least one symptom with her, and it helped all of them either eliminate or greatly mitigate the side effects of other drugs or the severity of the affliction. A couple of others were able to come off the drugs that were causing the side effects because of the benefits of the mj itself. Maybe, just maybe?

When you watch Dr. Gupta's retraction please pay attention to the growers who ratcheted down thc for the cannabis element that might help her most. Medicine can be about being "stoned" (PTSD, etc) but the miracle for you might be in the other part. Just saying.
