I'm usually one of the first to jump on this sort of thing, but I haven't seen anything especially malign in the content so I'm reserving judgement.
Also, FWIW, there are a LOT of people that work where I do that don't know how to play blackjack. There's simply no need unless you're in table games in one capacity or another.

When he said he worked in a casino, I assumed he was a dealer, which was incorrect on my part. I guess the red flag for me was when he asked if there's "a easyer game [than blackjack] like craps or sumthing?" Just seemed like an overall weird post. Even the title of this thread is weird, strange, phony...whatever you want to call it. Oh well.

The misspellings and horrible grammar are all over the place but look like the "is my bf cheating" letters the Wiz has posted from time to time. I think AZ is on to something. I post at a lot of different forums and the quality (for lack of a better word) of these posts is only out of place here because of what we've become accustomed to. I see this and far worse on forums that tend to be populated by a younger crowd. If you want entertainment of this variety just find one of those sites that offer "funny text messages" and you'll see writing that is nearly unintelligible.
In any event, I would request that any discussion concerning the perceived legitimacy or illegitimacy of this poster end immediately. It basically amounts to personal insult to publicly suggest that a poster may be a, "Phony," without proof.
The only information I will share on this matter is that the Member has not committed any violations of any Rules that I have seen, and that the Member's IP does not match that of any other Member, banned or otherwise.

As a new-hire I could see it, and did when I tried dealer school. We had about 20% who knew the games. And I have argued with dealers about third-base-play. But to not know at all, how do you do an effective job dealing?
I strongly disagree. This form of administration would be best reserved for DT. Most posters here are adult males. And when someone chooses YesThereReal as a name, I do not think it is unreasonable to ask " ARE YOU REAL ? "
