Quote: GWAE4 years ago we went to wynn to get players card. They had a deal where you spun a wheel after getting x amount of points for new cards. My wife got 2 free buffets. I was shocked when we went to eat there and the total was $89.98. It was the best buffet I have ever had. They had king crab legs but they were sawed in half so you didn't have to do any work. They have dry aged meat and some awesome desserts.
It is a fabulous buffet, I was quite impressed. I'm a buffet freak, thats all I eat when in Vegas. I've eaten at just about every buffet on the strip and downtown. I'm such a buffet freak, I rented a car once just to check out the buffet at the M and Red Rocks. To me its not really about pigging out, its variety. I take a tiny portion of just about everything. Its a different flavor with every bite. No line is a huge bonus, then its fast food, pay, sit, eat, leave a tip. More time for gambling. I envy Axelwolf, I'm a out of town low roller so I pay the going price for the buffets. Dont travel in large numbers to take up Axel's kind offer. No biggie, its one of my indulgences where I dont care about price.
When is that, exact date? I will have to look at the dates as to when they expire, I know 4 of them exp on the 27th for sure some are good for a wile. however I get them often.Quote: beachbumbabsThis might be a nice alternative to the G2E WoV at I heart burgers....at 1/2 price, certainly cheaper food.
A side note: IMO I think Buffets are not the best places for group gatherings. I feel rushed (not sure why) they are often loud and noisy and crapped. however i'm not 100% apposed to it, just not a preference of mine. If others are all for it, I'm cool whit it.
You can PM me any time you are in town. I get free Wynn buffets as well (half of them expire) and if we can coordinate properly, free is always on me. unlike lem66 , his going rate is $20 for that one, if you don't piss him off.Quote: terapinedIt is a fabulous buffet, I was quite impressed. Its a great buffet but, after eating it many times, its just a buffet with good food.
I was amazed with it the first 2 times I went went when they first opened. lines were a mile long (the looks you would get skipping the lines, people would even throw a fit) They had things like venison, duck and rabbit from what I can remember. Quality and service were number one.
I dislike most seafood even lobster. Shrimp I do like.
They can all be used individually. Only reason I wanted a big group is because I have to show ID and I would not want to go for just 1 or 2 people.
Expensive is right, we went with a group of friends and business mixed in it . Most were free but partners and I paid for 3 people who I invited. One Guy said, that would feed me for a week.
PS. not tipping 10 to 20% of a $50 buffet
