Hello fellow gamblers!
I wanted to specifically ask you about the odds that the dealer (casino) gets when playing a very different and wild style of Asian Blackjack. The Blackjack we play here is very very lucrative towards the player I believe, but I wanted to get your opinion on what the actual odds were on the entire game. Personally, I have a mini-casino that I provide as a service to my friends, and I wanted to see the numbers of this specific type of Blackjack that is rather popular in my area. If the numbers turn out to be what I think is happening (e.g the dealer gets screwed), then I would rather keep this game under the table.
The rules are such:
It is played usually with one (1) deck, sometimes two.
On a 15 or 16, you may Double UP, meaning you throw your cards away for a new set (2) of cards. Doubling up can be done as many times as possible (as long as you have a 15 or 16). The double up rule means that you double your bet, then get a set of new cards. For example, if you bet $1 and you get a 15, you double your bet to $2 and get 2 new cards. If you get 15 or 16 again, then you double your bet again to $4 and so on.
Also, on a 15 the player and banker get a choice of folding to reset the round. This happens at any 2-card totaling 15
If you get 5 cards UNDER 21, you win 2-1
If you get 5 cards AT 21, you win 3-1
If you get 5 cards and BUST, you pay 2-1
Blackjacks pay 2-1
Pocket Aces pay 3-1
Trip 7's pay 7-1
I also have 3 side-bets that I would like you to analyze, based on a 6 deck 52-card configuration. The 3 side bets are:
21+3
Match the Dealer
Pair Plus (Win on pairs)
This whole post is a request for an analysis on the specific numbers of odds involved in the particular game. I am willing to pay for your time calculating these numbers and would be willing to discuss compensation on time spent calculating these numbers. Please e-mail me at leon_how@hotmail.com as I don't really check the gmail that I listed on the registration. I would like to clarify a bunch of rules that is involved with the particular game. We could try out a series of sample rounds to determine the basic odds involved in this game.
Thanks! I hope someone will be able and is interested in puzzling out these numbers.
Regards,
Leon

Without even looking at the rest of the rules, just blackjack paying 2-1 alone on a single deck game makes the game strongly player-positive. Review the WizardofOdds site -- it has a great deal of information on blackjack variants.

In short, don't bother paying for an analysis of the game. It is impossible to profitably operate for any casino. You should, as you say, keep it under the table.
