I've been working on a game and came up with the perfect name for it, which is 2 words xxxx xxxx, but it's been registered in the 009 class for several years by a slots company. It looks like table games go into this class as well. I really like the name, so any idea what my options are?
I thought about having xxxx xxxx Poker, but it's long.
Or put them together, xxxxxxxx.
Any advice would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

probably a noteable exception. People would play BJ even if it started as 21 instead !
However, that game probably would do just as well if it have been named something like Mini Poker, or Small Hand Poker.
There's a strong likelihood that the game distributor will want to rename it anyway.
Our friend PaiGowDan had a better name than EZ Pai Gow for his invention. But the distributor he's working with also distributes EZ Baccarat, and the name does explain what it is, so the game's name got changed. Does Dan object? Hell, no!
Some people here tell me they love my Poker For Roulette idea, but think the name might scare off non-poker players. Does that bother me? On the contrary, I'm going to mention that to the distributor, and have even started to think about other names for it.
My point is, don't get wrapped up in the name. Make sure the idea is good. If you have a good idea, the name doesn't matter. And get a patent! Rich Newman is a good gaming patent lawyer.
I am based in England and Rich Newman is on my list regarding a patent, when i'm ready for that. Still developing the idea.
As a matter of course I do like to name a game, get the .com for it and ensure that there is no US and UK trademarks. Just because I think it may add value to any negotiations. But as you say a distributor may want to name it to fit in with their portfolio, which is fair enough.

How about "Roulette Jackpot" or "Jackpot for Roulette" or "Break the Bank Bet"
But of course that might turn off poker players ;)
Seriously, the idea is to indicate the bet is for roulette and there's a jackpot in it. On that vein you could also call it "Monte Carlo Bet," but that name would cause confussion in Vegas. "Break the Bank" is not roulettes pecific, and the bank won't be broken (far from it), but that might entice players to stick it to the casino. Besides, any winners can brag "I broke the bank at Caesars!"
It was NOT my first choice. But was the first choice that was available as a .com name.
Quote: DJTeddyBearFor what it's worth, I'm sticking with Poker-For-Roulette until a distributor tells me they want to use a different name.

Fair enough. I personally would be enticed by it if was simply called the "Poker Bet", or "Side Poker", since the relationship to poker is analogous, not literal, and that makes it really something "clever".

The initials wouldn't happen to be H--- L---, would they?
