Hello.
I am a Korean game inventor who is getting a lot of help through forums.
I'm posting on a thread to ask for advice from seniors.
First, what are the typical royalty for licensing game patent and trademark with land-based casinos?
Second, Is the period of the non-exclusive license generally contracted for one year?

I am relatively new in the field but for what its worth here is what I can tell you.
The leasing fee casinos will pay will vary. It is common to give a few months free to trial the game then move on to a monthly fee afterwards. The price will vary largely based on casino size. I have heard varying ranges starting at couple hundred a month for smaller joints ranging up to what you can negotiate. Less for side bets. If your game is the next UTH and can demonstrate a significant increase in profit you offer to the casino you can probably charge considerably more. I have heard rumors of some deals being written where the lease fee is a percentage of money made, but can't confirm it for table games, although I believe slot licensing works in this manner (with a daily cap).
I think most contracts are probably month to month (to reduce risk for the casino if the game is a bust) with annual good faith negotiations so if your game is a hit you can be compensated more for it.

Thanks for kindly answering my question. zbrownson!!
First, for example,
About 10 years ago, when three-card poker was introduced in Korea, royalties paid at casinos were around $1,000 per month.
However, I recently visited Game Inventor's website and saw that it was advertised as a royalty of $500 per month.
Of course, the royalty amount may be different due to the difference in the recognition of the licensors, but I was curious because there was so much difference.
I am planning to release my game in Korea in 2023, but I am worried about how much royalties I will sign.
