If 3 card poker were completely simplified: Only one initial bet, there is only a result if dealer qualifies with a Q or above, when the dealer doesn’t qualify all bets are standoffs, and all winning bets are paid even money, could anyone tell me what the house edge would be?
Cheers

Excluding any ante bonus that might get paid, the house edge would be ~21.2%

Prob < Q Prob >= Q
0.3041 0.6959
player < Qdealer < Q0.0924768100 (dealer pushes without Q or higher)
player >= Qdealer < Q0.2116231900(dealer pushes without Q or higher)
player < Qdealer >= Q0.21162319 -1 -0.2116 (player always loses)
player >= Qdealer >= Q0.4842768100(player and dealer have equal chance to win)

I didn't account for card removal so this is probably more accurate ^^^

I agree, removal of low cards(< Q)will give slightly higher house edge. ^^^
