Hey All,

As always, I'd like you all to be the first to be introduced to my newest game, Double Shot 31.

As all of my games are inevitable based, this is another 31 based table game, with a much different game play than both Money$uit 31 and 31 Classic. In this game the player gets two hole cards, then has the option of playing by matching their ante and, if played, thereafter has the ability to use one of two community cards to complete their best three card hand. There are also two side wagers available for the players hole cards and a $1 wager based on all four available cards.

I'd like to hear what everyone has to say, good bad or ugly. The math is present on the site for review as well. If anyone finds any miscalculations in the math or encounters and bugs in the demo, please let me know.

As has been the case with many of my games, members of our beloved forum have helped with the its completion.

You can experiment with the game demo by clicking the demo link below

I like this variation of your "31 Based Games"...two draw cards seems better than one even though you likely start with a smaller suited point total trying to get to 16+. I also like the separation of the base side bet with a 20% hit rate from the $1 "big hit" side bet as opposed to how those two concepts were combined into the Natural 31 bet in 31 Classic.

Game looks great and I would definitely pl. Am I right in that $1 winning bet on Quads, 41, and Royal would all generate a W2G ?
More concerning is the $1 Royal would in all likelihood cause 25% tax withholding ?

I think this version is the most viable for casino placements. I like it.

A couple of features that are not in the game that I like to see in games are:

A community feature (Envy for example)

Additional decision points (Check/raise/fold or a decision after first card, then second card)

Ability to risk more than the additional wage amount (2x/3x)

None of these are necessary, but I think each adds an additional layer of entertainment and catches a little different segment of player.

I'd give it a trial if I was in that type of position now.

I played the demo and must say, I like this game quite a bit. I'd absolutely play it while enjoying a few beers. Nice work!

I like the game, but you need better descriptors about the fact that cards need to be suited to count.

I spent 5 minutes wondering why my ThJc didn't pay anything on the bid draw hole card bonus, and lesser hands that I had did pay

Brett.

Played for about an hour. Demo was tough on the phone. No idea what goes into that, but could you check into a mobile format? Played great (the demo), just couldn't see much without constant scrolling.

Game itself is outstanding. Hits the sweet spot. Most intuitive of your 3, easiest strategy. Fun 4 card paytable, but had my best luck with the hole card bet. Really the most fun sidebet of that type I've seen, with the potentiality of some of the hands.

My greatest hit so far, and gives you a good idea of the most I could see at one time on the phone.
If the House lost every hand, they wouldn't deal the game.

Sorry for the delayed response all. I have been away for the weekend and forgot my password smh...

Paradigm: I agree, this is my favorite of my games thus far, although I still see the value in the other two as well for people that prefer a three card game vs a two card game (starting hand). Some people may prefer the additional hand knowledge allowing them to make a more finite play/fold decision, but I agree that the double shot gives a better feel after the play. I also like the healthier pays in this version vs. the old on the base game.

Dogqck: Thank you for the kind words! You are correct. Much like a progressive, the higher pays on the $1 bonus will trigger a taxable event due to the significant pays on the $1 wager.

SM777: At this time, unfortunately I do not have any additional placements to report for M$31 or 31 Classic. Full disclosure, I haven't really been pushing M$31 while 31 Classic had begun picking up placements.

Zcore13: Thank you for the kind words! I can wait in anticipation for the day you are in such a position. Hopefully soon enough!

Jmarch79: Thank you for the kind words! I will keep everyone informed with any placement as I hope to give you the opportunity to give it a go soon enough.

Rsanctuary: Thank you for the kind words. I have been going back an forth about including the suited cards rule on the physical layout, however, due to the number of pay tables.wagers, clutter is a little bit of an issue, so that may prevent it from fitting. However, there will likely be a sign or similar expressing the rule in live play.

Babs: Thank you Babs! I agree with you on this version. Regarding the mobile demo, it works on iphones (though the sizing is a little off). That said, it is a 100% Java demo so it works on all browsers. I'm not sure what can be done, but will talk to my developer and see what I can do....
