The game provides bonus hands when any adjacent pair is obtained in the hand. The pair will slide from one side of the hand to the other as cards fall out of the hand and new cards from the remaining deck are added to the hand. Once the pair slides to the opposite end of the hand, the game ends with up to four payouts.

Do the hands always slide, or is it only with cards of a particular value?
Edit. I read it again, and see what you're doing.
As a video poker player, I dislike the totally random aspect of the multiplier.
Also, it was giving me the option to pick a slide direction too often. For example: JxJJx, xQQQQ, and 66KKK. All of these should slide left to maximize the slides, and value of them. Even 44xJJ slides left to maximize the jacks or better.
Hands like 44JJx or 666KK would be a head scratcher to figure out the best value.
Only hands like KKxJJ would be a real coin flip.
Overall, I like it.
HOWEVER, I would have liked to see a history. Then again, maybe that’s what the circular arrow at the lower right was intended for, but doesn’t work...
Good job RG. I’d play.
Quote: WizardVery clever idea. What happens on a consecutive two pair, three of a kind, or four of a kind? My compliments to whoever did your math.
Thank you Wizard.
When a consecutive two pair, three of a kind or four of a kind is obtained, they will all side. At times the player will be allowed to decide which way they would like the two pair, three of a kind or four of a kind to slide.
In the situation below, the player is able to choose which way the slide should occur. They can choose the three fives to slide to the right two times or they can choose the pair of aces to slide to the left three times.

Thanks DJTeddyBear. We originally thought about allowing the player to choose the direction of each slide, but ultimately decided that it would slow the game down and we wanted it to play at a decent pace. We had a few hands where players may argue against the way the CPU chooses to slide the hand, so we put in place the choice for some hands. I agree with your assessment that there are only a few hands that would be considered a coin flip.

They ARE random.Quote: RomesI also couldn't figure out the multipliers. Sometimes I'd get a 2x or 3x, but it seemed random to me as sometimes it was for 2 pair, and sometimes it was for trips, etc.
That’s one of the things I hate about it. If I wanted to play something that was random, I’d play a regular slot machine.
On the other hand, I imagine the weighting on those random multipliers makes it easier to achieve target house edges.

Click on the i button within the demo and you can get a chance to review the math for the game. Below is a capture of some of the information about multipliers. We could have also done a version without multipliers, but we felt like it added a fun element to the game.
It is set to deal random cards, but click on the box and choose your starting hand.
