I just recently had a chance to do a quick write up on my new slot concept called the Spinning Cells concept so I wanted to post the link and see if anyone had any feedback.

Basically, the concept is a bonus slot game where a predetermined shape within the gaming area is established prior to a spin. After the player is awarded for any winning combinations in the main game, the bonus game takes place where the group of cells is pulled away from the main gaming matrix in order to spin and possibly rearrange the cells into new locations before being placed back into the matrix. The concept allows the player the opportunity to create additional wins by using the spinning cells.

Sounds novel to me as I don't remember seeing anything like that.
At my age, a "Life In Prison" sentence is not much of a deterrent.

I'm not sure what I'm at liberty to say but fellow member MathExtremist I believe is a part owner of a patent on a very similar concept.

Galewind Casinos (especially Pinnacle Sports) used to have a 3x3 slot in which all 9 cells rotated individually. This caused 8 ways to win. The Three-Across, Diagonals, and Top-to-Bottom Columns. I would think the base patent of spinning cells is also involved.

Some people need to reimagine their thinking.

I will have to look into more of the prior art to see if I can find the patents you are referring to. When you talk about the 3x3 matrix, I also have a slot game provisional for that concept too, but it uses the matrix in conjunction with the other cells in the matrix to form new paylines. I should have a demo for that idea soon.
