For the benefit of the Americans on the forum, according to Dictionary.com, the most fitting definition of a bash in this context is "to hurl harsh verbal abuse at." However, it was more so the "lying" part that bothers me.

Yes, that is the textbook definition.
But in many instances when a true and verifiable fact that just happens to be damaging to the company and/or the management is presented, the presenter is trashed and called a "basher" or a "short seller" by the company insiders or the paid promoters of the company stock. These company people blame all the price per share woes of the company on the bashers or the short sellers when in actuality it is the constant dilution by those same insiders that is causing the price decline.
Quote: teliotReally? You should go through AHigh's recent posts then, and count the number of times he accused zScore of lying (yes, that same word, "lying"). Just go through this thread, for a start.

Let's just look at the December 18th, 2015 at 8:01:08 AM post, where Ahigh wrote, "You came up with lies."
Granted, that comes close to the line. However, I consider it heavier to say that somebody else is a liar than to say something he said is a lie. Saying a statement is a lie is attacking the writing of another, which is allowed, but calling someone a liar is attacking the writer, which is not allowed.
Maybe we moderators gave Ahigh too much leash in that thread, but we know several members have stock in the company, or thinking of buying some. These financially interested parties I assume would have preferred to keep an open channel of communication of what was going on. That doesn't mean we gave Ahigh impunity, but I at least gave him the benefit of the doubt several times in this thread.

Thanks; I did not know that.
Dictionary.com says another usage is a prostitute. Has anybody ever heard it used in that context? I never have.

"Her pimp bashered me in the head and stole my wallet when I went into that cheap motel off Fremont with that prostitute."
Does that work?

This is interesting. Running a company from
a federal prison is a dicey thing. They are
only allowed 300 min of phone time a month,
in 15 min segments. That amounts to 20 sessions
a month. Email use is sketchy and must be paid
for by the inmate. US mail is unlimited, but
takes days to arrive.
I wonder how this news will effect a stock price
that's already in freefall. It's certainly not good
news.
I wonder how your statement will be viewed by CEO Jeff Foley?
David Foley is in prison, EB.
Jeff Foley is not in prison, he is the current CEO.
Different guy.

more, how would I know.

But thay sure didn't stop you from jumping to conclusions. Considering you seem to have many comments on the entire company you probably should have at least known their names. I surely think an apology and admittance of wrong is in line here.

That seems a little harsh, an edit isn't bad. But the straw man comment probably says it all.

Well at least Mr v has captured the comment. Hopefully he doesn't delete it as well. Isn't there a rule somewhere about editing posts?
But like he says all the time, it's just a forum.
That's just want casinos want. Lifetime winners in the high limit room ? ?

There is no rule. There is a strong request against deleting posts that have been responded to, because it breaks the flow of the conversation and leaves everybody else confused about what got said.

You are right, my bad. I am on another forum that has that rule. They allow edits for 1 week but you are not allowed to change the message, just add or fix errors.

Any stock that has these kind of swings either way is gambling, not investing.
In many cases there is manipulation of price by a few individuals, who may or may not be with the company.
Note these are general statements and I have no clue as to what happened today as to your original question.

What's your point. How can one company have
two stock exchange names.
Quote: ParadigmThis is really confusing...there are two Foley's? And now two companies? Buffet always says don't invest in what you don't understand. Best to heed his advice and stick to things that are in the wheelhouse...like presidential election predictions...I hear those make more sense.
Actually there are at least three....David, the founder, Jeff the current Chairman or as MrV calls him, the straw man, and Phil.
Attached is the current roster as presented on the NTEK website(appears to be outdated as Riordan is no longer there)

And from the Nevada Secretary of State..

A pity that Ahigh can't participate is all
of this.
Maybe a skill based slot machine based on craps would work.
Have to figure out how to include a bit of the old school DI in it for the AP crowd?
gaming license yet, which they need to install
a game in any Vegas casino. Don't those take
a long time to be processed, what are they
waiting for. I thought they were in a big rush.
Last I read they haven't even figured out the ticket-in, ticket-out thing. I'm not in the game biz but I'm guessing the payout mechanism would have been one of the first things to work out, not just an afterthought.
They've been at it for what, 1.5 years now?
Would the Gaming Commission even give them a license with the founder in prison and his brother in charge as the strawman? The guy is an ice-sculptor who's now CEO of two publicly traded companies...

Ahigh proclaimed their machines are table
games and will never have a TITO on them.
When told he doesn't get to decide what's
a table game and what's a slot, he scoffed.

NTGL will never get licensed to manufacturer slot machines in Nevada. They will need to partner with another company that is licensed to do the project.

Why?
Quote: MrVWhy?
They do extensive background checks on all company principals. They want at least 10 years of personal bank statements where they scrutinize all deposits and withdrawls. I am just assuming a criminal history of fraud will disqualify them.
That will not prevent them from forming a business relationship where they license their patents and technology to another company.
*see: "The Boardwalk Jungle" by Ovid Demaris for further, salient details*
To sanitize themselves, they'd have the unsavory fellow demoted, or removed from a position of power, and that placated the NJ commission, leading to approval.
One of the few denied a license was Hugh Hefner: not because of mob ties, but because of his attitude.
Anyway, with David Foley ostensibly booted out of and no longer involved with NTEK / NTGL, that MIGHT be deemed "good enough," although I've read the casino regulators in Nevada are tighter about this sort of thing than the ones in NJ.

I'd say slim and none with his brother in the top spot and no qualifications.
On a related note, it's actually easier to get a distributor to work with you if you have a good product than to get a placement yourself. They don't even have a distributor deal. That shows you what the market thinks of the product. Other companies with skill based games (at least 4 that I know of) are raring to go and will have games on the floor before you know it.
