That's pretty exciting, Stephen! Much luck with your placements and sales.

On the subject of TCS John Huxley and ICE...

In December, I was thinking about going to ICE. At the time, airfare was over $800. Way out of my budget, so I didn't even bother looking at hotels. But if I had intended on going, I would have locked up a free ICE pass before proceeding.

Today, I got an email from TCS with a free pass to ICE. Out of curiosity, I checked the airfare again. Now, just 10 days before the day I would want to fly, fares are in the $1,200 range. As a comparison, if I go the following week (or the offer was made a week ago), fares are in the $900 range. Still out of my budget, but not in the last-minute high-fare period.

What was TCS thinking?

For the record, I had my G2E pass locked up in mid July, and my Raving ticket in September - both about two months before the events.

Whatever.

And on a somewhat unrelated note:

Is that a typo, or are they sharing a booth?

Dave --

If you want to go to London for ICE, PM me. We can make it happen for far, far less than $900.

Are you aware that the $900 was just airfare? Curious to know how you can make it "far, far less"... FYI: Today's price is $1,478.

For the record, even if it was free airfare, it's too late for me to get time off work, etc.
