I have named it "Bowla".
I am currently working on the electronic version.
The working name for this will naturally be E-Bowla.

Totally serious.
I love all kinds of games.
I find alot of games in Vegas lacking a big entertainment factor.
For money or not for money, I like gaming.
I am going to be in Vegas probabbly a whole week in Dec.
Will have alot of time on my hands, probabbly bowl a few games at Brooklyn Bowl (last time there I got to bowl for free)
Also plan on hitting up the pinball museum again.
I play pinball and bowling simply for fun. Would definitly be interested in variations for gambling as long as I can make low roller bets :-)
Here are the rules.
Players make bets on how many pins the dealer will knock down.
Once bets are placed, the dealer will call no more bets. Then he will bowl the ball and try to knock down as many of the ten diamond arranged pins as possible.
If he knocks down three or more pins it pays even money.
A strike pays 3:2.
A spare pays 6:5.
Anyone caught trying to record or clock how well the dealer throws the ball and tries to discover the dealers bowling skills is an advantage player and will be backed off from the game for cheating.
Quote: BuzzardCasinos will insist that a strike pay 6/5 and not 3/2. Of course insurance against a gutter ball will be offered.
revised rules.
Strikes pay 6:5
Players may double down for the spare if two pins are left and they are four spaces apart. otherwise, no doubling down allowed.
There is also a side bet called the Earth, Wind and Fire Bet.
Players make a wager which will remain in play as long as the dealer makes strikes only. If the dealer makes ten strikes in a row(a perfect 300) the player will win the jackpot sidebet. Otherwise, the sidebet will be collected.
Earth Wind and Fire bet Payout to be determined per house edge.
You understand this is a joke about the ebola Virus right?Quote: terapinedTotally serious.

Civilazation Beyond Earth unlocks at midnight tonight. woohoo
It takes 12 strikes for a perfect game. Tenth frame has 3 strikes in it.Quote: darkozPlayers make a wager which will remain in play as long as the dealer makes strikes only. If the dealer makes ten strikes in a row(a perfect 300) the player will win the jackpot sidebet.

How do you arrange 10 pins in a diamond shape?
Quote: JoemanDarkoz, can you provide Reasons for the Earth, Wind & Fire bet? Perhaps it should only be offered in September, after the love has gone.
Funny. You're obviously familiar with the band. Anyhow, player should have to throw the strikes...after all, the dealer works for the house😉
Quote: BuzzardI once had 9 strikes in a single game and my score was only 120.
I feel lucky now, once I had 9 rolls during the game that hit only one pin, twice threw gutter balls and didn't have a single strike, but I beat Buzzards score and got a 181.

Oh, is that correct?
Guess you caught me. I don't bowl. Just making a joke. Didn't bother to research. My bad.

The nine one-pin rolls were the single-pin spare pickups in frames 2-10; the gutterballs were the first and last balls rolled
