From a hold perspective, "early high" is better than "early low". Lots of things can change from the early going. I think time and more importantly volume of drop are the key to getting an accurate picture of where things are going to settle down. 90 days in with good drop volume will tell you a lot.
Without divulging too much proprietary info, would you say the daily drop level at Golden Gate makes it your biggest install to date?
I'll let you know what I see when I am there. Best of Lucky!!
That is great news! Congrats on the grand opening and hopefully continued success in growing your client list. Woohoo!

Thanks for the congratulatory remarks, Babs.
Currently, we've submitted a second version of the game to the Nevada Gaming Control Board that incorporates the jackpot, Rainbow bet. Once that portion of the game gets approved, we'll work to get the Rainbow bet added to the game at the Golden Gate and then compare the two versions. Ideally, we believe only version 2 to be the game will be the only / preferred option of "Riverboat Roulette".Quote: IGRMCongratulations Doubeluck! What's the next stage for you now you?
Quote: doubleluckThanks! Currently, it's holding an additional 6.21% over the traditional game in the UK, but will let you know how it performs in Vegas after the first month.
I was one of the Dealers selected to deal this game when it was on trial in our place. I liked it. It was simple for the dealers, and easy to work in the required game commentary to our standard procedures. I liked the game and it appealed to some of our newer and younger customers, especially the younger ladies.
The only let down our end is that it didn't really appeal to our grade of customer. Our casino has one of the highest spend per heads in the country (outside London) and they very much like traditional roulette.
Good luck with the installs though, as I said before, I liked the game, enjoyed dealing it and can see it doing well.

How do you get the wealthy (or at least well off) clientele to try a new game? Must they be sidebets of already existing games such as baccarat with the dragon bonus or ties?

With great difficulty. The only way I have seen it happen, is that Big Players see the small players play things eg blackjack side bets, get decent payouts and want a slice. then they get a hit and suddenly its their new favourite thing.
As for new games, generally its better if it something familliar, like free bet blackjack.
