In my not-so-expert-in-fact-amateur opinion (re: your tagline): yes, totally, it does.
If the House lost every hand, they wouldn't deal the game.

Thanks for the heads up.
My knee-jerk reaction is that it does NOT step on my toes - concept-wise. My concept is that a bet is made for any of a variety of poker-like outcomes. This looks like you're betting on a specific outcome.
On the other hand, I do believe it will step on my patent. I intentionally wrote it so that it covers a fairly wide number of situations, all dealing with multiple roulette results. For that reason, I'll have Rich Newman look at it.
Then again, I showed my idea to Interblock and Organic at G2E in 2011 so maybe I have a claim of some sort.
I have a feeling my legal fees are gonna have a spike....
