allin, I want to see you succeed. When one independent makes it, it gives hope for others who are trying. Do not take criticism as a negative thing. Prove Paradigm wrong and he will be the first to congratulate you.

I am going to reserve judgement on this game until see the game in action, visual aids are always better. Trying to explain the game in text and some pictures is ok if very simple, but very simple is in and out the door of a casino in no time. I think you are on to something but I suspect you need assistance in fine tuning the game to realise its potential. I can do that for you.

This forum can be an unforgiving place if you haven't got the basics right. I suspect you have probably disclosed it a little too early in its development, as mentioned in an earlier post, you need to create a video. It would appear you have not yet produced a layout which would be handy as there are many things other than the raw mechanics of the game to think about; for instance, dealing procedure, security etc that can equally kill a game before it has a chance if not thought through, again I can help you with that as well.

My advice for now is cease trying to convince the forum about the game and focus on producing a layout and video/demo which can then be viewed as the final or near final product.

1) Wager Poker and/or Point Bet.

2) Receive five cards (dealt face-down). View your five cards.

3) Wager optional Rank Bet if you choose too. Must have a wagered Point Bet before cards were dealt, to wager Rank Bet. If wagering Rank Bet, wager 1-3 times amount of wagered Point Bet.

4) View dealer’s up-card.

5) Wager Suit Bet if you have wagered Rank Bet; or forfeit wagered Rank Bet. If wagering Suit Bet, wager the same amount as wagered on your Rank Bet.

6) Choose Dealer-Set or Player-Set Method to have your hands set.

Dealer-Set Method – set your cards in the box that contains the Suit Bet circle, dealer will set cards as follows:
a. Point Hand – cards of higher rank than dealer’s up-card.
b. Rank Hand – cards of same or lower rank than dealer’s up-card; cards also must be of a different suit as the dealer’s up-card.
c. Suit Hand – cards of lower rank than the dealer’s up-card; cards also must be of the same suit as the dealer’s up-card.

Player-Set Method – you will set your cards as follows:
a. Point Hand – cards of higher rank than dealer’s up-card.
b. Rank Hand – cards of same or lower rank than dealer’s up-card.
c. Suit Hand – cards of same suit as dealer’s up-card.

Dealer sets their hand using the Dealer-Set Method; except they use their up-card in their Rank and Suit Hands.

Your Poker Bet wins if you get a pair or better out of your five cards.

Your Point Bet wins if the dealer’s Point Hand contains more than 21 points.

Your Rank Bet wins if your Rank Hand outranks dealer’s Rank Hand.

Your Suit Bet wins if your Suit Hand contains more cards (that match the suit of the dealer’s up-card) than the dealer’s Suit Hand contains.
