I saw with Dealer Bluff it was using a card reader. Was the i-table the only option for this, or are there other devices that simply read the cards the dealer has? So, if a casino was using basic shufflers but wanted to offer a game like dealer bluff, are there ways a hand can be read without the dealer looking at the cards?
I saw a product called scanjack and wondered if it could be modified for this purpose. Anyone have any other ideas?
Thanks,
Dave

The Racing Card Derby table game uses a card reader and I think there were marketing it as a stand alone product as well.

At G2E, I saw a system that uses cards that have RFID chips in them.
I was shocked that they not only exist, but feel, bend, shuffle and deal as good as any high grade cards.

I invented a few casino games. Info:

Superstitions are silly, childish, irrational rituals, born out of fear of the unknown. But how much does it cost to knock on wood? 😁

Wouldn't these cards be susceptible to cheating? LOL

I have heard there are two readers being used in the UK. The one I've seen is in Reading and used for UTH Poker and the table not only reads the cards but each player has their own touch-screen for betting on a standard Blackjack sized table. It has the advantage that new dealers can run the table with little experience.
btw I've seen the Racing Card Table in Coventry, but not being used. Apparently it came with a computer program and a SicBo style lit up table. Is the game, with its high house edge, played elsewhere?

At GoldStrike in Tunica playing blackjack the dealer never checks themselves for a BJ. They simply slide their cards into a reader if they are showing ten or ace and it tells if they have BJ or not. So much for reading the dealer or getting a show lol.
