As we speak, countless gaming executives and managers of distributors are running around like chickens with no heads, just prepping for the event.
I'm going as a game designer with a distributor (new games on the floor). Should be huge this year.
Chime in.
we hit overload. Answer: We already hit it.
Hopefully I will see some familiar faces from the forum - anyone passing by then please stop by and say 'Hi'.
Quote: SwitchI'll be on Shuffle Master's stand watching 'Free Bet' for most of the show.

Look for me too around "Mulligan Poker."
Will definitely be saying "hello" to Switch, Wiz, Paigow Dan and on the look out for Mips, DJ and other forum members I have met along the journey.
No games of mine on the floor, so I voted "spectator".

Not sure if this is directed to me, but I will be stopping there as well. Gemaco manufactures my layouts and I like them quite a bit.
But I think you may be referring to the AC Bacc card fiasco......is that where you were heading?

I think that's what Dan meant. I had suggested chatting with them at G2E in the Golden Nugget fiasco thread.
For the record, I beleive that they will be very tight-lipped regarding the incedent. As they should be, since there is pending litigation.
My suggestion was more just to find out how casinos are supposed to use certified pre-shuffled cards.
Specifically, Dan's opinion is that all cards, even pre-shuffled cards, will be examined before being put in play. My assertion based upon no experience, is that they take the certified deck and put it in the shoe and start dealing, because any type of examination would require them to be shuffled again.
The use of Indy layout makers has its ups and downs...

I was looking for an easy layout source...I feel horrible for Gemco on that other issue, really.
Quality Layouts/good price/quick turnaround/clean job on it: they are game designers' issues.

Yes: to all DTG's: Shuffle it up and know for sure!
NOTHING is certified - until your Surveillance crew sees it fanned out on the table!
it within 10min. He must have an email alert on his
smartphone. For somebody in his position to have
that quick a response time says a lot about him.
