So who's going, and what are your travel dates / plans?
I fly in on Sunday 9/30, land around 10:00am. I take the red-eye home, leaving Vegas around 10:30pm Saturday 10/6.
I have reservations for all 6 nights at Imperial Palace, but I'm waiting to see if I get better offers. Ideally, I'll stay at Fiesta Henderson Sunday night so I can terrorize Dan. IP Mon, Tue and Wed for the short walk to the Sands. And the D Thu and Fri so I can terrorize Nick.
I figure we'll meet Tuesday at the ShuffleMaster or DEQ booth around noon to firm up plans for dinner or other meet-up.
You probably won't need it until October, but my cell phone is 973 896 7905. Since G2E, is a noisy place, I suggest text rather than voice.
Any idea if free expo passes will be available this year? The dealine for the cheap $200 pass is 9/10/12.

Thought I would bump this thread and provide some exhibitor booths of interest (at least to me):
Shuffle Master #1241 - Roger & Co with 8 new games per his post....looking forward to what they have new to show us.
DEQ #2017 - Hopefully PaiGowDan will be there for at least part of the show demo'ing EZ PGP
Galaxy Gaming #1617 - Not sure what they will have as new, they did the Prime Gaming acquistion right before last years show. They have "Bust Bonus" that I think is new, a BJ side bet.
TCSJohnHuxely #3817 - a DJ favorite for obvious reasons, on the floor this year (as opposed to last year at Ghost Bar in Palms I believe)
Creative Casino Games #3236 - These guys showed Shootout Poker & looks like they have Lowball Shootout this year as well. Games played against other players and against the dealer.....I thought original Shootout was pretty complicated, be interesting to see if they got any installs that stuck (besides the cruise boat they run out of FL). One of only a couple of what I call "independent game developers".
Barrett Gaming Int'l #2714 - they have a Dealer Bust 21 sidebet that has some installs in WA. I think main business is party pit dealer staffing.
Tech Art #3536 - Super Fun 21 has been out for a while and another dealer bust BJ side bet. They also are known for that mirror device to check for Blackjacks on up cards of 10 and Ace's.
Trip King Enterprises #5128i - Says something about a Hold 'em game both online and in live format. I am putting this in "independents" category and will be interested to see what they have got.
Double Luck Gaming #2712 - "Independents" with a roulette side bet game.....DJ, you should check out this one for sure. Some multi spin bets it looked like they also added "color neighborhoods" to the wheel and you can bet on colors I think.
Digideal #4365 - This is normally all electronic table games technology, but they normally have great models for dealers running the e-tables (like SMI), some years with a "model/dealer dancing on stage" and the beer has been flowing. It has been quite the party going on at this booth in years past. Typically no proprietary games here that I recall, so this is just a cruise by to watch the show and perhaps get a free beer :-).
I'll be attending again this year, but staying off the strip as I will have a car since I am driving in from CA. Will be good to catch up with folks at SMI booth, etc. I will have some other non-forum folks with me, so not sure post show activities will work for me, but playing it by ear. Do want to head down to GN at some point to see Free Bet in action, although I am sure Switch and Roger will have it as one of the games on the floor this year.

I have always gotten mine through Konami.
Here. Then, click on the G2E registration tab. I registered with a different priority code, so if anyone tries it, let us know if it works.

Yeah, I meant to bump this myself last week, and again today.
Today because Roger Snow made a G2E comment in another thread, and last week because I had gotten an email from someone at G2E with an offer of a free admission to the expo floor.
So, I'm registered for the show.
For the record, when I last looked at the floor plan, TCS didn't have a booth listed. Admitedly, that was well over a month ago. Did something go south almost at last minute with plans to again have a private show? FYI: Yeah, it was at the Ghost Bar last year.

I show TCS at #3817 as of today. It is a big booth and I figured they just decided to be onsite this year. I think last year was the first year they were offsite at the Palms......maybe they didn't get the results they wanted and decided to be back on the exhibit floor as a result.

Oh.
I was under the impression that doing the off-site show was a regular thing.

I'll be there, as always. I expect to see my Mulligan Poker on the Shufflemaster floor.

Bump.
I got my "badge" email today! Woo hoo!
(I put 'badge' in quotes because although the email has a bar code and kinda looks like a badge, it states to take a printed copy to registration to pick up the actual badge.)
But I figured that was as good an excuse for a Roll Call bump as any...
As far as a meet-up goes, that's being discussed in the G2E Lunch thread.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, and maybe Thursday, you'll see me at G2E wearing a short sleeve shirt that has my logo on it, along with a black tie with green circles. It's the same shirt & tie I wore to the May ShuffleMaster Focus Group.
Look for my logo on my shirt:

Last year, they had a reception on Monday evening. Any word on whether there will be another this year?
As I recall, it was around 6:00pm.
As luck would have it, the wedding convention I had gone to in prior years is this week as well, at the convention center. They are having their own welcome party on Monday, at a high end casino nightclub, starting at 9:00. Because I'm still on their mailling list, I got invited, despite not attenting their convention. So, depending on timing, I may not make it to the G2E welcome party.
Then again, I'd like to go to the G2E welcome party, if for no other reason than to get another picture similar to these.

I will, I kinda like his sarcastic sense of humor. Although, I don't think he liked mine last week, when I responded to his post on on my thread. Have fun at the expo guys....
