You can debate the overall value of Platinum but should be worth it for the parking alone in Vegas. Nice gesture by CZR.

MGM did this several months ago. It's appreciated.

And Thank You for your service. You and every other veteran never gets enough credit for their service and sacrifice.

Veterans Day is coming up. Happy Veterans Day to all who have served, thanks for your service and dedication.
There's emptiness behind their eyes
There's dust in all their hearts
They just want to steal us all and take us all apart

I just heard about this. Is it good "forever?" As in, lifetime Platinum status with no minimum points or tier credits or anything like that? Also, same questions, but with regards to the Mlife card. If so that's a pretty good deal, and I'm signing up for both immediately upon my next trip to Vegas (assuming they'll still be around).

There is no current expiration date on either offer, but like any program, it's subject to future change. With CET beginning to charge locals, it is a nice plum.

To show their support of Veterans, CET was offering Free Parking to Veterans during the 1st Iraq invasion. When I pulled up to the toll booth, I pointed to my "Disabled Veteran" license plate and was waved through.
On my next visit to the casino, about a month later, I pointed to the plates and I was told "The war is over" You have to pay!!

That reminds me of the time I was at a store that openly advertised discounts for veterans. It used to be that VA ID cards would "expire" and you had to renew them. They eventually stopped doing that, but my VA card still had old expiration stickers on the back, even though it was now valid indefinitely. When I was in this store, I showed the cashier my VA card to get the discount, he saw the expiration sticker, and said, "This is expired," and he didn't give me the veteran's discount.
?!?
I didn't have time to explain to him how the cards don't "expire" anymore, and who knows if he even would have believed me, but the dumbest part is an expired card wouldn't make me NOT a veteran. I don't know what logic was going on in his brain, but I never saw him in that store again.
