I'm going to be at the Vegas convention center for a week in aug 2016.
Traveling alone.
I had a thread about cet hotels w/2 ways of entering/leaving the hotel garage but I cant find it. :(
Flamingo + harrahs?
Which cet hotel would you stay at if you're going to be at the convention center for a week?

Are you going to be taking the monorail to the convention center? If so, it'd be easiest to stay at Harrahs/Quad, Flamingo, or Ballys. All have their own monorail stops.
Personally, I'd do Ballys.

well, I was going to drive, hence me mentioning 2 ways to enter/exit garages.
ie: vegas blvd and harmon (?) street.
didn't even think about the monorail! THX!
but still probably going to rent a car since I want to see downtown.
Does Bally's have 2 ways to enter/leave their garage?
hm.. how's Uber in Vegas?
Uber is good in Vegas. But Lyft is better. Lyft treats their drivers better. Uber might be cheaper, I don't know. There is a lot of competition at the moment between the two in LV.Quote: 100xOddswell, I was going to drive, hence me mentioning 2 ways to enter/exit garages.

Bally's doesn't have a garage. Paris does. You can exit out the back to Harmon or Flamingo. Harrah's/Flamingo/Linq also all have access to Flamingo and Koval from the back. Any of those would be fine for visiting the convention center. (Monorail probably the best option).

I too prefer Lyft to Uber. Both are cheaper than cabs. I've had better drivers with Lyft.
I think the monorail is the best option for getting to/from the convention center as it has a specific stop at the convention center.
prefer the freedom.
how's planet Hollywood as a hotel and as multiple ways in/out of the garage?
and for those that recommend ballys, why not paris?
both are owned by caesars.

In this order: Harrah's, Paris, Bally, Linq. Based strickly on convenience to the metro. After those, Flamingo and Cromwell. Then PH. Caesars last. Bonus w Paris /Bally. Mostly indoors to the station . But shaded from Harrah's /Link with misters. Short walk out back of any of hem.
Ph worse walk from parking to room. Rooms not bad. Suite was amazing.
Paris and ballys regular rooms are average. Suites I enjoyed.
Avoid the rio! Many reports of people getting their crap stolen from rooms.
Never stayed at linq,
