Day 1 mini-Report: 3 x 4 Dueces = a Nice Afternoon !

Hello Y'all:
Here's a brief Trip Report on Day 1...
( Day 0 was what seemed like a full day of travel just to get
here, trying to balance a decent air fare vs non-stop flights
vs the closest airport. The best air fare won ).
Day 1 Story
=======
Sunday 03/25
So just for fun, we decide to drive out to Green Valley Ranch.
That has been on my to-do list. Several years ago, I liked the
cable channel "reality" show that was about GVR.
I start out playing 99.7 % DW with my players card, just to
try and see if I could get some good offers in the mail, even
though we aren't locals.
When I am down about $ 60, I switch to their 100 % full
pay, and start to make a little comeback. Mrs Q then calls
and says that one of the machines next to her has opened
up, so I cash out with my ~ $ 50 that I now have left and
sit down next to her.
In the next 90 minutes or so, AND I would not make this
up, I hit 4 dueces THREE times. Very cool ! Not a natural
Royal, but very cool nonetheless.
I've gone whole trips without hitting 4 dueces.
I played about a total of 2.5 hours, and ended up cashing
out with $ 800, or a NET of $ 700 after my buy-in.
So now I am trying to pace myself to make sure I go home
with a decent net win.
I'd love to be able to update this with a Day 2 or 3 or
whatever with another nice win, but that hasn't happened
( yet ).

That is the time to reward Mrs. Q and thus helping you pace yourself. If she banks it, fine. If she plays
with it she will still feel you've done well.
