Checking out wizardofodds.com and comparing 9/6 Double double bonus and 9/6 triple double bonus. What i'm confused about is they seem to have different probabilitys of what hands show up. How is that possible? if video poker is a 52 card deck then the probablity of certain hands from one game to the next should be the same. I understand in triple double bonus 4 A's and a 2-4 kicker pays 4000, however double double bonus only pays 2000 for the same 4 of a kind and the probability of you getting a 4 aces with 2-4 kicker in DDB is greater than that of triple double bonus. It isnt much but once agian if a 52 card deck is used for both games then the odds of getting 4 aces with 2-4 should never change. Can i assume then that video poker works like a slot machine in some ways, where some hands are purposely set to be more likely than others? Or am i just completely over looking something?

Optimal player draw strategy changes and that changes the final hand distribution. If you played the same strategy for both games, your probabilities would be the same.
