With this paytable, is it still the correct strategy to throw away a made Wild Royal or 5 of a kind if three of the cards are deuces? The only strategy guides I seem to be able to find are for Full Pay Loose Deuces.

Yes. Always keep the deuces.

The wild 5 of K has an EV of 15. The wild Royal has an EV of 25.

In the game that you're playing, you have about a 23:1 chance of picking up the 4th deuce which pays 500. Immediately, your EV is about 21.5 just for the 4th deuce alone. The least you are going to get is a 4 of a kind which is worth 4. Immediately, keeping the 3 deuces in "Loose Deuces" has na EV of at least 25.5 which is higher than the Wild Royal. That doesn't take into account all of the other possibilities of SF's, 5 of a K and wild royals which ups your EV even more, probably to around 30, I am just guessing.

Yep. The whole point of Loose Deuces is the huge payout for the deuces. You got to go for those at every opportunity -- otherwise you won't get anywhere close to the expected E.V.

The E.V. for 3 ducks is 33.25.

(Singer's gone so I can say that, right? 8-))

The Undeniable Truth is that EV doesn't matter. What matters is that you keep doubling your bet UNTIL YOU HAVE A WINNER.

Only the math geeks use big numbers like "33.25". When you win all the time you don't even have to count the money. That's what all them "advantage players" fail to understand. I've challenged them to refute my "win every time, and you'll always be ahead" Thooper Thystem, and they always back out, which means that they're just a bunch of wimpy losers. Or losing wimps. Or something. I give training sessions for only $3000/hr if you're interested in learning my methods.

Thanks again guys. Glad I held the hand until I got the correct EV advice. The only thing I have in common with Singer is that I got up after my big win. I'm actually quite embarrassed that I didn't figure that keeping the 3 deuces was the obvious correct play.

You actually sat there in front of the machine until you got an answer? How long did it take?

I was playing online so that is probably not quite as humorous a scenario as you'd imagine.

Once again, MKL decided to make facts up about RobSinger for no good reason and with no evidence. Which is odd as there's plenty for him to attack without making stuff up.

I have no idea why I have to point this out EVERY SINGLE TIME the subject comes up, that MKL has no evidence that Rob charges anyone for his system.

It should be quite enough to point out that his system does not work and be done with it without making BS up. Must be a pathology.

I don't know why you have to do that, either. Must be a pathology.

I've pointed out many times that he sells his book, for real actual money, and that book is the only even semi-clear or semi-rational explication of his Thystem extant. So HE DOES CHARGE FOR HIS SYSTEM as long as the book isn't free. Duh!

He MAY give free consultations for all we know, but it's pretty doubtful that he travels to some casino locale and bends some sucker's ear for nothing.

Frankly, you kind of sound like another Singer avatar right now. Yeah, sure, I'm "making stuff up" about Singer and his Thystem. Next you'll be spouting off about my "long rambling essays" and "assertion-filled posts."
