Which game would be best to play?
Jacks or better
Deuces Wild?
Triple Deuces Wild?
Bonus Poker?
The Jacks or better machines where I play all have: 8/5 Full House Flush... and the 1$ machines have 9/5 (not 9/6)
I have no clue on the other machines.
I am completely new.. there is so much information on the wizardofodds site and on this forum.. I do not know where to search.
///
The only reason I asked if because I have stopped gambling as a way to supplement my income, but I will still do it for entertainment. A woman I met is interested in casino.. Now, I do not want to pay 5$ per hand... I don't even want to play 50 cent per hand. There are 10 cent VP machines in the area, so even if I play the WORST machine, it's not going to crush me for the entertainment we'll get.. but I would rather get the best value (plus be able to show off knowledge).
I saw on Travel Channel a guy sits down at a 8/5 machine.. then walks literally just 10 feet and sits at a 9/6 machine. I hope she gets impressed when I do that with 8/5 ; 9/5
---
I'm not really asking for what is perfect strategy. Should I hold three to a Royal, but dump a made pair of Queens doing so? That's not what I'm looking for (however, I personally would keep the 3 to Royal and risk the pair).. Just given the basic machines, which would give me the best value :)
Thanks

You should try the Wizard's online games first. The advice button is great for figuring out whether or not you made the right play. You may surprise yourself, I know I did. My picks were right better than 90% of the time.
Aside from that, play the best pay table your bankroll allows and the game you enjoy most.

Thanks 'Nareed' I did not know there was an advice page for VP. That actually going to help me a lot more than I was hoping for.

You're welcome (what's with the "quotes"?).
It's not an advice page, but an advice button on a VP game. try this link for JoB: https://wizardofodds.com/play/jacksorbetter/
And this one for DW: https://wizardofodds.com/play/deuceswild/
It's good training, too. If you scale up to multi-hand, the strategy's the same anyway.

It all depends on what you want..
the BEST game is Full-Pay Deuces Wild.
However if you're looking to last a long time, have a good time, and a good all-around, then Full-Pay Bonus Poker is your game.
