I thought the payout was always equal to your bet because that's all I had ever hit it for (usually a losing hand), but today I hit it while I had a flush, and it paid 230 credits. The flush paid 30 credits.
Incidentally just a couple hands earlier, I was four to a royal. The fifth card was the card that missed, and the Match Card was the King of Spades that I needed. I shudder to think what that would have paid.
Quote: DeucekiesHow does the Match Card work on DDB exactly? I know if the match card matches your fifth card, you get paid, but what determines the payoff?

Where are you playing? If it’s in Washington, it’s not video poker.

Miplet is correct. It may look like video poker but it is not.

For crying out loud. I feel like I've been tricked.
Well, that said, do you know how the Match Card works? That video says the payout is equal to your bet, so why did I get a jackpot from it today?
Edit: Never mind, I see the answer in the opening graphic. The bonus payout can be anything up to the royal flush payout.
