Comp dollar error 5 figures

So a guy I know informed me a casino in town made a mistake crediting his account after the restaurant screwed up with his bill using his players card. Fat fingers I guess. So this casino only allows you to redeem $500 free play or promo chips per day. Since it required you to go to the cage to get your promo chips he opted to just transfer the comp dollars to free play using the kiosk. He played $5 VP max bet. Long story short, the fun lasted about 5 days until he discovered his account went to zero.
