If I am running down a possible advantage player, one of the first things I will do is look up their previous play. A significant amount of slot play (or play on other games) may even have me stop my assessment before it begins.

My various hosts have consistently told me over the years that if I want to increase my value to the property, I need to play more slots by percentage. I've very seldom.been unhappy with my comps, so I don't worry about it much, but I have tried to add a greater percentage of play on them. I just don't enjoy them very much compared to playing cards.

The annoying part has been, I find a slot that plays well and I think is fun. They remove it. I guess a lot of the ones I like pay too well or something, because they keep crappy ones from the same period.

For example Winning Bid , WhoDunnit, and Jackpot.Party all came out in about the same year (all Williams titles). Jackpot Party was the not-fun one with an annoying, constant noisemaker and a crappy bonus game. The other two were really fun to play, and your money lasted a long time (or you won). Guess which of those 3 is still in casinos? The 2 good ones disappeared years ago.

There's a winning bid machine at my local. Conveniently located by HD, between A3d and scarab.

Nice. Is it the original from around 2004, or is it the re-issue from 5-6 years ago?

So what you want to do is take a bus to the airport, then take a plane to MSP. Then take a train to the mall of america, then take another (free) bus to the casino.....

Lol, I have done significant traveling like that before.

If I had a car it would read,

Drive car to airport (pay for gas tolls and parking) then take plane ro MSP (wtf is that? Mississippi?) Then rent a car (more expenses for rental car fee gas and tolls) to mall of America (they have a comic book store I might enjoy) then drive to the casino (gas and tolls)

When I moved to Jackson Heights in 1992, I had two cars and pretty much had owned one constantly since 1976. Within a few months, my cars had received a dozen tickets and been towed twice. I decided it was easier to sell the cars and use the money for taxis and rentals. End result was I saved a lot of money, and walked quite a bit. When I moved back to the Island, I needed a.car. The closest bus was a mile away and didn't go anywhere worth going to.
NYC is becoming less and less car friendly. Thousands of parking spaces have been lost to bike racks. Somehow, somewhere, someone decided adding tens of thousands of bicycles to the congestion of Manhattan was a good idea.
As far as not renting cars on out of town trips, that part I don't understand.

It is often a balance between time and frustration when traveling. Now, of course things are different but in my 'salad days' I used to hitchhike from airports, it could take a few days before you got a ride but a pilot's lounge was a free motel room and no one much cared. Boston to Columbine, CO cost me fifty dollars but most flights were free.

I think the best way to travel is still to bum your way aboard boats. Usually you pay fifteen or twenty dollars a day for your first two voyages, after that they pay you.

Unfortunately hitchhiking on roads can be dangerous in the USA.

If I were to fly to Vegas, I would want no plane transfers, no major deviations from a direct path to Vegas. Its mainly because flying is such an ordeal now.
